Tempe Hotel

This hotels decor is a tired. It’s open plan layout with a beer garden out the back that can be accessed through large glass bifold doors. The bistro serves the usual pub fare, however we found it sparse as a meal. The Tempe Hotel is patronised from the local area and the borders of the rooms upstairs. It is furnished with old and worn arm chairs, sofas that would look more at home at the dump, stools and aluminum pipe chairs outside. There is only one bar that services the entire venue.
While it’s not at the standard of nearby establishments this pub ticks most of the boxes for a suburban pub in Sydney and that’s about it. The doors are shut early as there’s no security so knock loudly on the door and you’ll eventually be let in. There is entertainment advertised in venue however it did not match the actual entertainment offering. It also acts as a boarding house with rooms to let with shared facilities.
